Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Warehouse Executive to manage day-to-day warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the safe and efficient storage of goods. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the supply chain and production teams to meet operational targets.
Your role will involve
- Oversee the daily operations of the stores and warehouse, ensuring smooth material flow.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Properly store materials in designated areas and maintain systematic stacking for easy access.
- Update stock records in the inventory management/ERP system on a real-time basis.
- Ensure accurate labeling, binning, and coding of stock items for traceability.
- Plan and conduct regular cycle counts and monthly/quarterly physical stock audits.
- Maintain minimum stock levels and raise reorders when needed to avoid stockouts.
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage dispatch documentation including gate passes, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards in the warehouse area.
- Supervise helpers and warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
You should have:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
