Branch Manager – Karachi - Pakistan
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join Dart Global Logistics (Pvt) Ltd Pakistan as to drive our Freight Operations and Branch Management in the above capacity. The person whom we are looking for above opening shall be a people person and ability to manage the entire Air / Ocean freight operations in line with Company objectives to ensure smooth service for our client’s expectations.
Job Role
- Primarily responsible for Air & Ocean freight operations, both Imports & Exports products with profitability, operational efficiency and service quality
- Ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients
- Maintain excellent rapport with Airlines & Liners and related stakeholders.
- Should possess exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle client inquiries and service level complaints related Operations Dept.
- Responsible for achieving Dept. KPIs of both Air & Ocean
- Monitor and control the cost of operations to maintain a certain margin of profits
- Adherence to the Company SOPs, Corporate guidelines and client specific SOPs.
- Timely update of processes and procedures related to Operations
- Ownership to resolve challenging customer issues
- Act as a key driver of the Operations Dept.
Professional Experience & Skills
- Sound educational background
- Min 10 years’ Experience in the Logistics / Freight Operational Experience.
- Should possess effective communication & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the CargoWise system will be a definite advantage
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
- Higher Diploma Holder in Logistics Management, Degree or MBA from a recognized university will be an added qualification.
- Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
