Portfolio Manager - Inclusive Governance / SDG 16 (NPSA 10)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka supports inclusive governance and sustainable development through integrated initiatives aligned with SDG 16 and national development priorities. The Inclusive Governance Portfolio focuses on strengthening institutions, promoting access to justice and enhancing civic participation, with an emphasis on inclusion, accountability and resilience. Working closely with government counterparts, civil society and other partners, the portfolio also integrates cross-cutting themes such as digital transformation, gender equality, youth engagement and human rights.

In this context, UNDP is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Manager – Inclusive Governance / SDG 16, who will support the coordination and implementation of activities across the portfolio’s thematic pillars. The role requires sound technical knowledge in governance and peacebuilding, strong coordination skills and the ability to manage day-to-day programme operations. The selected candidate will contribute to programme planning, implementation and monitoring, while facilitating collaboration across teams and stakeholders to help deliver meaningful development results.
