Development Merchandiser
Corporate Office - Wattala
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Job Role
- Facilitate and lead "Development Risk Analysis Meetings" in collaboration with technical teams.
- Effectively communicate development-related concerns to customers, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of development trackers for seamless progress monitoring.
- Oversee the proper handover of development-related details to bulk and procurement teams, ensuring all information is comprehensive and aligned with project requirements.
Individual Profile
- Professional qualification in Marketing / Merchandising would be an added advantage.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- Age below 40 years.
- Sound knowledge of apparel costing and sample developments.
- Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills.
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, work independently with minimal supervision, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Ability to get things done and work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
