MIXOLOGIST / BARTENDER
WHITE LABEL BRAND AMBASSADOR
- SPIRIT & LIQUOR DISTRIBUTION
(COFFEE & SYRUP JUNIOR POSITION)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Focus: Beverage Creation & Syrup Expertise:
- Develop innovative and signature cocktails, mocktails, and coffee-based beverages that showcase the versatility and quality of our brands, with a strong emphasis on syrup applications.
- Prepare and serve both classic and custom cocktails, mocktails, and coffee creations with precision and flair.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of flavor profiles, ingredient pairings, cocktail, mocktail, and coffee techniques, specifically focusing on how syrups enhance and complement various beverage styles.
Client Engagement & Training:
- Deliver compelling presentations and training sessions to bar staff, retailers, and clients, focusing on product knowledge and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage creation, including coffee and syrup usage.
- Provide expert advice on cocktail, mocktail, and coffee menu development, assisting bartenders and baristas in creating balanced, profitable, and trend-forward drink menus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Clearly communicate drink recipes, and ways to improve drink quality.
Event Management & Support:
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events, tastings, and industry gatherings.
- Manage bar and coffee station setup, inventory, and equipment at events.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences, including the growing demand for non-alcoholic and coffee-based options.
Brand Advocacy & Representation:
- Represent and promote our portfolio of spirits, liquors, and related products at events, tastings, trade shows, and on-premise locations.
- Act as a knowledgeable and engaging brand ambassador, educating clients and consumers about our products.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, with a portfolio of original cocktail and mocktail creations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of coffee based drinks, and the use of syrups within them.
- Deep understanding of spirits, liquors, non-alcoholic ingredients, coffee, and cocktail and mocktail history.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to captivate and educate audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for the beverage industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed within Sri Lanka.
- Mixology and/or barista certifications or formal training is a strong plus.
