FINANCE MANAGER
We are a leading corporate player, in a diversified business scope, over a period of 40 years. With the immense growth across our businesses, we are looking for a dynamic individual for the following vacancy, to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Preparation of the variance analysis reports against the budget, monitoring results with the department heads, and interpreting the results.
- Ensure compliance with financial accounting regulations and company taxation.
- Should be able to lead, guide, and motivate a team of account staff under direct supervision to ensure the smooth running of daily accounting operations.
- Liaise with auditors, the company secretary, bankers, and relevant government authorities to be in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Design or upgrade internal control systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Finance, Accountancy, Commerce or fully/partly qualified in CA/ ACCA/ CIMA or CMA.
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar capacity and in a manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
- Result-driven, Proactive, Creative, and organized character.
- Conversant with SAGE and MS Office packages.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and sound analytical skills.
