JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast production line capacity based on current and incoming orders.
- Administer finalization of production line allocations, run cycles, and secure stakeholder approvals.
- Oversee receipt of orders from Merchandising/Marketing and align with capacity planning forecasts.
- Assess and arrange external vendor support for capacity shortfalls or urgent orders.
- Execute pre-production planning and risk assessments jointly with the Product Development team.
- Manage monthly production schedules and guide contingency planning for potential disruptions.
- Administer daily, weekly, and monthly production follow-up processes to ensure adherence to targets.
- Monitor production progress regularly and drive corrective action plans for any delays.
- Track utilization of units, machines, and resources to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Oversee data reviews, MIS reporting, and ensure ERP system updates for accurate production tracking.
- Identify and administer process improvements to enhance production planning and execution efficiency.
- Manage team performance, resource deployment, capability building, and drive high engagement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or Apparel Manufacturing.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in production planning, capacity management or manufacturing operations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and supply chain dynamics.
- Proficient in ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting (MIS), and forecasting.
- Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
