Job Summary
The Site Engineer serves as the primary technical advisor on construction sites, ensuring projects are executed per design specifications, safety standards, and agreed timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include supervising site operations, managing subcontractors and staff, overseeing inventory and material management, and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to ensure designs and drawings are followed accurately.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising staff and subcontractors.
- Oversee project planning, material management, and logistics to meet deadlines.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and cost management throughout the project.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage inventory and materials on-site, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Implement and monitor QMS procedures, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in site management and civil engineering projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, inventory management, and QMS processes.
Working Conditions
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
