We're looking for Senior Food Monitors - Trincomalee!
The Senior Food Monitor will support the PALAM/A project by overseeing and documenting the appropriate implementation of food supply chain operations and monitoring the distribution of commodities to schools/School Meal Providers.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Use the Logistics Monitoring Form to document and report on the loading, off-loading, and transportation of commodities, ensuring compliance with PALAM/A policies and donor regulations. Monitor laborers and meal providers to ensure safe handling, minimizing loss or damage during transport and storage.
- Conduct on site monitoring during distribution at each final distribution point by using prepared Distribution Monitoring Form to review critical minimum standards are met and best practices followed for the distribution of USDA commodities to School Meal Providers.
- Conduct routine checks of the commodity stock in comparison with records (stock register) including physical counts of the warehouse.
