EXECUTIVE - ENGINEERING STORES
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive - Engineering Stores. The position exists for effective management of engineering spare part stocks within statutory and organizational guidelines with the objective of ensuring availability of such stocks at the required time, in the required quantity and quality. The position is based in Mathugama.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Responsible for managing to receive spare parts from dealers and stores in a manner that will enable smooth production.
- Responsible for entire spare parts and engineering items stocks and issue spare parts from the warehouse to production while maintaining documentation.
- Responsible for the stock variances.
- Responsible for the physical quality of spare parts maintaining the effective functionality while assuring the FIFO in issuance.
- Responsible for error-free ordering assuring the on-time requirements.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Degree/diploma in Engineering or inventory management with 1-2 years experience.
- Experience in manufacturing work environment would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
- Trade Practices in a factory environment.
- Sound knowledge in Stores Management and Specifications of Engineering Processes.
- Understanding and requirement fulfillment of inventory Management systems.
- Interpersonal skills, leadership, motivational skills, decision making skills and ability to work extended hours.
- Should be a good team player.
