CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Ceylon Fresh Seafood (Pvt) Ltd is a BOI registered company engaged in exporting fresh and frozen seafood in a state-of-the-art modern factory located at Ja-Ela. With its new rapid expansion, we require competent and futuristic individuals immediately to the office/factory located at Ja-Ela. He or She will be directly supporting the international business operation.
BUSINESS ANALYST
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Gathering and analyzing data for potential business expansions and supporting the COO in timely monitoring of progress on strategic initiatives.
- Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Supporting the COO on various initiatives covering local and foreign operations (Europe, India & the Middle East).
- Liaising with foreign clients and embassies on relevant matters.
- Representing senior management (CEO & COO) in selected external meetings.
- Coordinating with all levels within the company to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
About You
- Fully or finally qualified in CIMA, CA, or a Degree in Finance/Accounting or Food Technology is preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or exporting industry.
- Strong understanding of financials with excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages, advanced Excel skills, and experience with BI tools.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in liaising with foreign nationals.
