Overview of the role
The Software Engineer – Web Applications is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web-based solutions to enhance business processes. The role involves coding, UI/UX translation, database integration, and ensuring performance, security, and scalability of applications while collaborating with teams to deliver user-focused digital solutions aligned with organizational goals.
What you will do
- Develop web applications to automate manual workflows, integrating back-end systems like SAP.
- Maintain, scale, and enhance AMW web platforms.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive visual elements and user-friendly interfaces.
- Write efficient, secure, and scalable code using ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Conduct testing to ensure performance, compatibility, and quality standards are met.
- Implement robust security protocols and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Manage databases (MS SQL/MySQL) and ensure seamless data integration.
What equips you for the role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in .NET development with strong MS SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery skills.
- Experience in responsive design, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with PHP, WordPress, and Flutter is a plus.
