INTERNATIONAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Who we are:
A leading ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, HACCP, and GMP certified herbal drug manufacturing company with an island-wide distribution network is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as an Executive – International Marketing at our factory and office in Puwakpitiya, Awissawella. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director – International Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Export Marketing Strategies: Formulate and implement plans to expand business in international markets.
- Identify New Markets & Business Opportunities: Explore and establish partnerships to enhance global reach.
- Ensure Trade Compliance: Adhere to global trade regulations, customs policies, and company guidelines in all international marketing and business activities.
- Build & Maintain Client Relationships: Develop strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- International Pricing & Contract Negotiation: Manage pricing strategies and negotiate agreements with overseas clients.
- Monitor Export Budget & Financial Performance: Track and optimize export-related financial performance.
- Provide International Customer Support: Address inquiries and concerns of global clients.
- International Travel: Travel abroad as required to engage with clients, attend events, and strengthen the company's global presence.
- Reporting & Market Analysis: Prepare management reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in Marketing (SLIM/CIM) will be an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the herbal drug or pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and statistical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving and/or riding license is required.
- Smart, intelligent, result-oriented, and outgoing personality.
