Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager – Engineering, you will assist the Chief Engineer in driving engineering operations and executing maintenance strategies to ensure optimal productivity, quality, and efficiency across the property.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of engineering strategies and departmental standards.
- Overseeing the quality and cost efficiency of technical supplies and services.
- Administering the Preventative Maintenance Programme and Energy Management System.
- Coordinating renovation and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Liaising with architects, interior designers, and consultants on hotel upgrades and developments.
Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel environment.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
