Job Description
SALARY
- Basic Salary-USD 1000 – USD1200 (MVR Equivalent)
- Food Allowance-QAR 400
- Free Accommodation, Transport, and air ticket once every 2 years, medical insurance
- Contract Period: 2 years renewable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in the elevator industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator safety standards, codes, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and documentation software.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadlines.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement QA plans specific to elevator projects.
- Establish and monitor quality control procedures.
- Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct detailed inspections of elevator installations and maintenance work.
- Perform functional and safety tests on elevator systems and components.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and compliance data.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality and safety findings.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all work meets local, national, and international codes and industry standards.
- Remain updated with regulatory and technical standards.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Work with project teams, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Participate in project meetings and pre-inspections, providing technical guidance.
- Training & Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct quality training sessions for relevant teams.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
- Auditing & Risk Management:
- Lead internal audits and assist in third-party assessments.
- Assess risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintenance Records:
- Document all inspections, repairs, part replacements, and upgrades in the online system.
