EXECUTIVE - PURCHASING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Identifying the Purchasing requirements through Packing Material warehouses and Marketing / Commercial departments
  • Check and verify the current inventory levels of required materials for the relevant contracts
  • Negotiating on price with rationale of cost-benefit analysis, make or buy decisions, high-low method etc
  • Communicating all relevant Purchase orders to the suppliers
  • Sourcing of new suppliers locally and overseas

CANDIDATES PROFILE :

  • Full / Part qualification in Supply Chain Management. Part qualification in CIMA will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in a similar capacity
  • Exposure to an ERP system
  • Good working knowledge of MS office is essential
  • Good knowledge of English (oral & written)
