BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying suitable commercial properties for opening new properties in assigned geography, negotiating commercials, the scope of work, and finalizing acquisition deals.
  • Building joint business plans with key partners like property developers, landlords, project consultants, and property brokers in order to have a profitable business association for Acorn and its stakeholders.
  • Liaising for legal due diligence and paperwork involved in signing and acquiring the SOB portfolio.
  • Coordinating with various departments internally during the property onboarding process to ensure end-to-end closure on each property launch on the ground.
  • Evaluate operator performance and inventory management to generate contribution margin from SOB portfolio and action as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities, both organic growth and acquisitions through strong relationships with owners and operators.

Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to structure/negotiate large and complex business deals.
  • Mature, professional and has ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
  • 3 years of experience in franchise development, preferably in the QSR/hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing the entire life-cycle of B2B clients from onboarding to business metrics.
