Job Summary:

The Group Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the entire group of companies. This includes managing consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, and strategic financial planning to ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group in compliance with Full SLFRS.
    • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Coordinate group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Analyze financial results and variances and provide strategic insights to senior management.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
    • Monitor and manage group cash flow and working capital.
    • Oversee banking relationships and group treasury functions.
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Group taxation, audit, financial regulations, EPF & ETF).
    • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants for group audits and tax filings.
  • Internal Controls and Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement strong financial controls and risk management practices.
    • Monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures across the group.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and develop finance teams across subsidiaries or business units.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and consistency in financial practices across the group.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Support the CFO in financial planning, business analysis, mergers & acquisitions, and investor relations.
    • Provide commercial and financial advice to business units.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA).
  • 7–10+ years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3 years in a group or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of consolidation of financial statement and Full SLFRS.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in multinational or diversified group settings.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance and investment evaluation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
