CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER

Our client, a newly established multinational company in Sri Lanka, is seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Service Officer to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and co-ordinate various client accounts including handling customer orders, reviewing stock levels and monitoring outstanding payments from customers.
  • Interact with customers throughout the order processing cycle and handle complaints related to bulk production.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and negotiate prices when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Production Development, Production, Shipping, and Warehouse departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle inquiries from overseas sales offices, monitor stock levels, discuss forecasts with sales and overseas customer service teams, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collaborate with the product development team when taking over new client accounts and may handle small development projects directly.
  • Communicate with overseas sales offices and/or directly with clients to ensure smooth account operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in MNC, preferably in the Trims/Textile/Garment industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Good command of spoken/written English, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with customer service software.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, positive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in the Garment accessories, Trims and Packaging industries would also be advantageous.
  • Immediate availability is preferred but not mandatory.
