TEPPANYAKI (DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE)
Description:
Assists in preparing and cooking teppanyaki dishes in front of guests, ensuring high food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards. Supports the team, manages section duties, and engages with guests to provide an interactive dining experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Teppanyaki-style cooking, including live cooking and guest interaction
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and Teppanyaki techniques
- Excellent knife skills and ability to perform cooking techniques in front of guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commitment to hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
- Culinary certification or formal training is an advantage
- Experience in the hospitality or fine dining industry preferred.
