IT Executive
ME Colombo is a leading 4-star boutique hotel located in Colombo, offering exceptional hospitality and world-class service. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Executive to manage and support the hotel's IT infrastructure and systems. The IT Executive will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and security infrastructure. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support staff and guest tech-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot hotel IT systems, PMS (e.g., Taurus), POS, telephone systems, Wi-Fi networks, and CCTV.
- Ensure data backups, system security, and network performance are maintained.
- Provide technical support and training to hotel staff.
- Monitor system performance and carry out preventive maintenance.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in managing Windows servers, hotel PMS/POS systems, networking, and security systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full-time and/or Part-time candidates are considered.
