Food and Beverage Manager

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operation in the Food and Beverage department, including bars, restaurants, room service and banquets.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring efficient and effective service.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and implement menus, considering customer preferences and market trends.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints, ensure guest satisfaction, and strive for exceptional experiences.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial reports, manage department budgets, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate with event planners for special functions, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.

Education and Qualifications

  • Educational: A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Manager. Experience in managing a team and departmental budgets. Proven track record of maintaining high standards in customer service.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and management.
  • Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and delegate effectively.

  • Attention to details: High attention to details to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organizing and planning: Strong organizational and planning skills, especially in managing large teams and multiple tasks.
