Production Engineer
The ideal candidate should possess hands on experience in the manufacturing environment, with minimum 3 years’ experience, essentially in the Production area, in a large manufacturing multinational unit.
As the Production Engineer you should improve process efficiency, uplift the product quality, develop employee competency and strengthen the organisation while utilizing existing resources/capacity to optimum in your respective production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Production functions, establish goals and develop an execution of a strategic process plan to achieve corporate objectives.
- Capable of optimum utilization of organisational resources, process evaluation and ascertainment of safety protocol.
- Review the production/process efficiency regularly and share the inputs and the best practices to grow and enhance the product quality and efficiency.
- Be responsible for the preparation, implementation and achievement of production targets & delivery targets of on time delivery in full (OTIF) with right quality.
- Ensure labour usage & material usage (material efficiency) are within standards.
- Proper utilization of energy & other indirect production cost parameters within the specified standards & involve for cost optimization/saving projects.
- Improve operational efficiencies & process capabilities using lean principles and six sigma techniques.
- Motivate and drive towards Kaizen system.
Qualifications/experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent from a recognised University.
- Knowledge and skill on ERP production reporting platform.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a good level of understanding of business requirements.
- Demonstrate good communication, excellent leadership skills & sound interpersonal relationship.
- Preferred certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt from a reputed organization.
