looking for dedicated & committed individuals for above mentioned position for working in foreign office in the Maldives

Position Summary:

Construction Project Manager - Marine, Reclamation, Revetment works

Job Overview:

This role requires a seasoned professional capable of balancing project timelines, budgets, and compliance with FIDIC contracts, while managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple civil and marine projects. Furthermore, the individual should be an experienced industry professional who is entrusted with the management of contracts based on the FIDIC suite of documents. Their primary responsibility is to oversee the implementation and administration of the contract throughout the entire project's lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of maritime experience including reclamation in a reputed construction company and having a total experience of over 10 years in Civil Engineering Work.
  • Versatile knowledge of planning, directing, and coordinating overall project activities.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge in project management software, MS Office and working knowledge of AutoCad.
  • Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversee team members.
  • Lead and direct Project Site teams towards the execution and completion of projects.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate overall and critical project activities to meet individual activities and project timelines.
  • Keep constant track of project progress to ensure targets are met as per the dates of completion and both plan and report daily, weekly and monthly to Head Office and Employer.
  • Ensure all required resources are available and coordinated appropriately at all organizational levels to ensure smooth execution of construction works.
  • Monitor resources, project budgets and attend to cost control/manage of major items of work with allocated staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality and environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain effective communication with Employer, Sub Contractors, stakeholders, Head Office Staff and Senior Management.
  • Submit Interim Payment applications and follow up until receipt of payment.
  • Maintain all critical and resources records of the Project and share with Head Office.
  • Maintain Inventory of all Resources and Machinery and equipment in Good Order and avoid delays.
