EXECUTIVE – WAREHOUSE
Location – Teejay Lanka PLC – Avissawella
We are looking for an Executive – Warehouse to assist with the process in the Warehouse and drive for Operational Excellence to align with the organizational vision and mission.
The Job
Primary job role will be;
Inventory Management
- Oversee receipt processes across all warehouses, manage systematic allocation and distribution of materials to production departments, ensure accurate handling of returns and secondary receipts, maintain proper storage protocols, especially for sensitive materials.
Documentation & Systems
- Update SAP for all warehouse transactions promptly, maintain accurate bin location records, complete goods receipt documentation within 24 hours, conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
Quality Control
- Verify BOI compliance for incoming materials, perform weight checks and quality inspections, ensure proper verification of all receipts and issues.
Coordination
- Work effectively with internal departments and external vendors. Coordinate storage operations across multiple warehouse types, oversee systematic issue/return processes for all material categories.
The Person
- 3 years or above experience in a similar category.
- Completed Degree/Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/Inventory Management, or related field.
- Proven experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of BOI regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing multiple warehouse operations simultaneously.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams.
- Strong analytical skills for inventory management and process optimization.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation accuracy.
- Experience in handling sensitive materials and maintaining safety protocols.
