Procurement Associate
Sri Lanka Telecom (Services) Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, operates the PEOTV and content business for the Group. PEOTV has been at the forefront of IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) services, introducing innovative and interactive television applications to Sri Lanka, since its inception.
We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual with problem-solving skills along with a proven track record to take up the challenging position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist AM – Admin & Procurement to ensure whether all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
- Ensure purchased items are of the respective quality standards
- Communicate with suppliers regarding inquiries, orders and delivery schedules
- Prepare purchase orders based on department or project needs and ensure that payment terms are met, and any discrepancies are resolved
- Act as a liaison between suppliers, vendors, and internal departments and support senior procurement staff in day-to-day activities
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and perform general administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and preparing procurement-related documentation
The ideal candidate should;
- Possess a minimum of a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or relevant field or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Possess minimum 02 years of work experience in the relevant field (experience in Import and Logistic Operations will be an added advantage)
- Be proficient in MS Office packages
- Be below 35 years of age
