WE'RE HIRING - HR EXECUTIVE
Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (Full-Time | On-Site)
We are a newly established BIM Engineering consultancy office who is handling only overseas projects, seeking a dynamic HR Executive with 1–3 years of experience to join our Kelaniya-based team. This is a full-time, working from office role ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting technical teams and contributing to a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the HR Manager and Operations Leads to understand staffing needs and streamline targeted recruitment process.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting correspondences, shortlisting, scheduling, and onboarding.
- Maintain a pipeline of BIM and technical candidates for anticipated future roles.
- Coordinate office-based HR activities such as attendance tracking, timesheet processing, and leave management.
- Liaise with external partners, such as advertising agencies and government bodies (e.g., Divisional Secretariats), to support recruitment and compliance requirements.
- Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives tailored to technical teams.
- Monitor and report on overtime and staff working hours.
- Support internal coordination between HR and project management teams regarding workforce planning and allocation.
- Preparation of staffs’ weekly time sheets and liaise with client’s point of contacts for an on-time circulation.
- When required, liaise with external audit firm / bank for employee’s EPF / ETF activities.
Candidate Profile:
- Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or related qualification from a recognized institution.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally in an engineering or technical environment.
- Familiarity with supporting BIM teams or technical engineering staff is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with digital communication tools.
- Strong English communication skills, especially in formal writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Knowledge about Sri Lankan labour law.
