Business Development Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute business strategies to attract and retain clients, expanding the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders & partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients.
- Manage and lead business development projects from conception to completion.
- Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
- Build financial models and develop strategic assessments to address key business issues.
- Evaluate new business models, emerging technologies, and innovations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics, preparing presentations summarizing industry segments or reporting on individual companies.
- Conduct client needs assessments and evaluate outcomes.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Fully or partially qualified in Business Management, Marketing, or any equivalent field (additional qualifications will be an advantage).
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
