Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of various procurement methods and strategies.
  • Ability to read and interpret all types of technical drawings accurately.
  • Attention to detail when taking off measurements and preparing BOQs.
  • Accurate estimates of costs, resources, and time for project completion.
  • Evaluation of projects, emphasizing benchmarking and project management improvement (IPA).
  • Integrated approach to project control processes (cost, schedule, performance) to keep projects on track (IPC).
  • Preparation of cost value reconciliation, through expense tracking, cost forecasting, and corrective actions (CVR).
  • Proficiency in BIM-based workflows and digital take-off solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in project documentation and reporting.
  • Preparation of client quotations with proper breakdowns and clarity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A recognized certification or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • A solid understanding of the principles and practices in Quantity Surveying.
  • Ability to effectively work with modern digital tools and software applications related to QS and project management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in Middle East Projects would be a plus.
