JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong knowledge of various procurement methods and strategies.
- Ability to read and interpret all types of technical drawings accurately.
- Attention to detail when taking off measurements and preparing BOQs.
- Accurate estimates of costs, resources, and time for project completion.
- Evaluation of projects, emphasizing benchmarking and project management improvement (IPA).
- Integrated approach to project control processes (cost, schedule, performance) to keep projects on track (IPC).
- Preparation of cost value reconciliation, through expense tracking, cost forecasting, and corrective actions (CVR).
- Proficiency in BIM-based workflows and digital take-off solutions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in project documentation and reporting.
- Preparation of client quotations with proper breakdowns and clarity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A recognized certification or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- A solid understanding of the principles and practices in Quantity Surveying.
- Ability to effectively work with modern digital tools and software applications related to QS and project management.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in Middle East Projects would be a plus.
