Overview of the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager – Group Marketing to lead our brand and corporate marketing activities. This role is pivotal in creating a distinctive voice and market presence for our organization, ensuring competitiveness within the automotive industry. The Senior Manager - Group Marketing will manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and lead the marketing team in executing activities for our franchise brands, including Nissan, Suzuki, Renault, Yamaha, and CNH. Additionally, this role will oversee the overall company marketing strategy and execution, ensuring cohesive and effective marketing efforts across all channels.

What you will do

  • Plan, strategize, and implement brand and corporate marketing activities in accordance with SOP.
  • Create a strong market presence and competitive edge for the organization.
  • Manage the allocated marketing budget to maximize ROI.
  • Lead the Group Marketing team to execute marketing activities aligned with the business plan.
  • Oversee the overall company marketing strategy and execution.

What equips you for the role

  • An MBA in Marketing Management or a CIM graduate, or other professional qualifications equivalent to an MBA specializing in Marketing Management.
  • Proven track record of a minimum of 8 years of industry experience in a management position at reputed organizations (diversified businesses), in sales, marketing, advertising, PR, and brand management.
  • In-depth knowledge of ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing strategies, with an understanding of managing internal and external suppliers.
  • Proven experience in brand management, handling leading local and global brands.
  • Exposure to advertising, media, and public relations (PR).
  • Experience in leading and managing a marketing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.

Required skills to be successful

  • Strong digital marketing skills, including knowledge of Google Analytics, lead generation, and conversion.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive team performance and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and allocations.
  • Ability to identify various brand-specific target groups (TGs) relevant to the business.
  • Understanding of media and online channels, with the ability to recommend an effective communication mix.
