SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
REQUIREMENT
Volunt International, a leading international cost consultancy firm with a strong presence across the Middle East and Oceania, is expanding its team in Sri Lanka. We are seeking talented and capable Team Leaders / Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be expected to lead a team of quantity surveyors, from the initial quantity take-off to final BoQ preparation in line with the below job responsibilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Studying Tender / Contract Drawings, and specifications and identifying discrepancies and ambiguities.
- Understanding the scope of work, and most importantly identifying scope gaps.
- Raising queries, attending meetings with designers and technical managers to clarify the scope.
- Coordinating the measurement team, addressing their queries.
- Monitoring and reporting the project progress.
- Verification of quantities calculated by the team members.
- Attending meetings with Consultants/Contractors to clarify the quantities, or BoQs prepared.
