INTERNAL AUDITOR
We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
- Review financial records, reports, and statements for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Identify areas of risk and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit plans.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or ACCA is an advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, audit procedures, and internal control systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
