Quantity Surveyor (Kaluthara Site)
Qualifications
- NCT with 3 Years’ experience in construction industry in similar capacity.
- Knowledge of contract document administration.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Good communication, reporting and presentation skills.
- Age below 26.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of the Interim payment applications.
- Preparation of estimates.
- Monitoring of progress of works on daily / weekly / monthly basis.
- Draft the agreements for Subcontractors.
- Preparation of Contractors’ invoices.
- Maintaining records and documentation.
- Day today communication with site, consultant and subcontractors.
- Monthly IPC checking with main contractor.
- Preparation of cost proposals.
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
- Preparation of Site Measurements & Quantity takeoff.
- Preparation of Monthly reports.
- Preparation of material status report and monthly progress report.
- Tendering.
The Ideal candidate(s) should be a team player having positive interpersonal and communication skill with willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
