WAREHOUSE MANAGER

The Continental plant in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, is a leading producer of industrial solid tires for forklifts and other material handling vehicles.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as Warehouse Manager at our Kalutara facility.
Your tasks
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution, ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.
- Develop and implement strategic improvements in warehouse layout and processes to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and resource optimization.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to meet performance goals, while promoting a safe, accountable, and continuously improving work environment.
- Ensure full compliance with safety protocols, local labor laws, and regulatory standards across all warehouse activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners—including suppliers and carriers—to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Analyze operational metrics, lead CUD planning and ergonomics projects, and provide insights and reports to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related professional qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Prior experience in the tire or rubber industry will be considered an added advantage.
- Proven ability in teamwork, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting, with strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control best practices.
