Shift Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Shift Engineer to support its production operations. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a strong understanding of engineering principles and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing, production-driven environment with exposure to modern engineering practices.
Job Profile:
- Supervise and manage shift-based production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime and optimize plant performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, shift reports, and production data.
- Assist in the implementation of engineering improvements and process modifications.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Utilize AutoCAD and MS Office tools (Word, Excel) for reporting, planning, and drawing updates.
Person Profile:
- BSc in Engineering (Mechanical) from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience; exposure to a production-related environment will be a definite advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to operational demands.
