As a Sales & Marketing Consultant at Mai Globe Travels, you will play a crucial role in generating inquiries, converting them into bookings, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your efforts will help enhance our reputation among European travel agents and individual travelers.

In this position, you will proactively seek out and generate inquiries from potential clients and travel agents in Europe. Converting these inquiries into confirmed bookings will require effective communication and personalized service. You will provide high-quality services, ensuring a seamless travel experience for clients while strengthening Mai Globe Travels' reputation within the European market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Leadership & Development
    • Define and execute growth strategies for French-speaking FIT and B2B markets.
    • Build strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and direct clients.
    • Identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities in each target region.
  • Sales Management & Team Leadership
    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of French-speaking travel consultants.
    • Set performance targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent sales conversion.
    • Create a high-performing, customer-focused team culture.
  • Product & Commercial Strategy
    • Oversee the development of compelling travel itineraries and programs tailored to French-speaking travelers.
    • Collaborate with the product and operations teams to ensure tour quality, innovation, and market fit.
    • Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends to stay ahead of the curve.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, ideally within sales or customer-facing teams.
  • Native-level fluency in French, with excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with strong analytical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and a data-driven approach to sales strategy and performance analysis.
  • Background in the hospitality or tourism industry is highly desirable, though not essential.
  • Prior sales experience is a strong advantage, especially in B2B or FIT travel.
  • Familiarity with online marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
  • A true passion for travel, especially for promoting unique destinations like Sri Lanka and South Asia.
