The Araliya Green Hills Hotel is a charmer that welcomes you with warm hospitality in the midst of the cool climate of Nuwara Eliya. In addition to the beauty of Nuwara Eliya landscape, this modern and the artistic hotel has 160 rooms that range from Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Presidential suite and a Royal Suite.

We required to be filled the following positions with dynamic & efficient candidates in the Hospitality industry with Administrative experience, exceptional leadership qualities and ability to drive towards company goals.

Cost Controller

  • Monitor and control all costs associated with the hotel
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Review and reconcile invoices and purchase orders
  • Identify areas of cost savings and control
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on cost control
  • Monitor and report on budget performance
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Develop and maintain cost control systems
  • Provide regular reports to management

Food and Beverage Manager

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Design exceptional menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
  • Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, and procedures
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and report to management regarding sales results and productivity

Chief Steward

  • Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operations, and costs
  • Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of products and services
  • Ensure Back of House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed
  • Direct and assist Stewards to make clean-up more efficient
  • Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented
  • Assist Chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed
  • Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories
  • Coordinate with the relevant managers establishing minimum and maximum operating par stocks and supplies, and approve storeroom requisitions
  • Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Manager to check their requirements
  • Assist in the location, movement, and storage of banquet operational equipment
  • Take all necessary actions to reduce the loss of silverware/flatware
  • Supervises employees’ ability to follow loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs

Digital Marketing Executive

  • Develop, manage, and optimize social media campaigns across platforms (FB, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Create engaging content including reels, stories, blog posts, and visuals
  • Run paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and monitor performance
  • Maintain and update the hotel website and booking integrations
  • OTA optimization and Management
  • Collaborate with departments for event promotions and seasonal campaigns
  • Respond to online reviews and manage the hotel’s digital reputation
  • Track and analyze KPIs and prepare monthly marketing reports
  • In-house graphics designing (Flyers and Printing materials)
  • Capture and edit on-site content (photo/video) for promotions
  • Stay updated with trends in digital marketing and tourism
  • Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responds accordingly
  • Supports the coordination of photography for F&B advertising, collateral, and public relations purposes between the hotel, advertising agency, and the regional field marketing teams
