Position Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of projects, from initial estimates through to final accounts, ensuring value for money and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project bids.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors and trainees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
