SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

JOB ROLE
- Engaging pre contract works such as preliminary estimates, tender documents & feasibility studies, cost plans, internal budgets, engineering estimates.
- Taking over quantities and preparing BOQ’s for upcoming projects initial and final development works, extra works and other relevant construction activities.
- Preparation of internal budgets & bill of materials.
- Preparing, negotiating and analyzing cost for tenders, contract and extra works.
- Obtain quotation form sub – contractors, preparing rate analysis, negotiating.
- Cost controlling of all the ongoing projects.
- Preparation of Bill of Materials.
- Checking IPAs, Variations & Claims.
- Monitoring the client supply material.
- Preparation of rates budgets and negotiate with contractors.
- Drafting of contractual letters.
- Cost controlling of particular projects.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- BSc with 5 years' experience or HND with 10 years' experience.
- Excellent communication in English and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to priorities and multitask.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Should be able to work long hours (If required).
