Job Description

The Role

  • Lead and supervise a team of instrument technicians, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all instrumentation-related tasks.
  • Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of various instruments, including but not limited to, pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, level indicators, and control valves.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all instrumentation activities.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on all instrumentation to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

The Profile

  • NVQ Level 5 or above in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong understanding of sugar factory operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
