Biomass Power Plant (BOI Mirigama Zone).
RA Energy, a leading renewable energy company operating a state-of-the-art biomass power plant in the BOI Mirigama Zone, is seeking a dynamic and qualified Instrument Engineer / RO Water Treatment Engineer to join our technical team.
Instrument Engineer
Essential Requirement
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines such as Applied Physics or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Power plant industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure optimal performance of all plant instrumentation to support efficient and safe power generation.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in control systems and instrumentation.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability and performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Distributed Control System (DCS), Daily routine maintenance.
- Flow transmitters and level transmitters, Header Pressure switches.
- Speed Sensors, Load transducers, Control Valves, Safety Valves.
RO Water Treatment Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain RO water purification systems.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor water quality and ensure system compliance.
- Respond promptly to system faults and perform troubleshooting.
Essential Requirement
- Prior experience with RO water systems (industrial experience preferred).
- Technical/diploma qualification in water treatment or mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Willingness to work onsite at EPZ Mirigama.
