Senior Executive – Utility (Kelaniya Plant)
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of Utilities management practices against set standards within the plant premises.
- Effective maintenance of utility systems including boilers, water, compressors and other utilities supplies.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to utility systems.
- Lead the maintenance team and technicians to achieve efficiency through minimized machine downtime.
- Diagnose engineering faults and identify bottlenecks in machineries and facilitate correction through professional support.
- Support the Manager – Utilities in effective implementation of solutions to increase machine efficiencies.
- Oversee Annual Maintenance Contracts and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for utility assets.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical or chemical engineering OR
- NDT / NDES in mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with Boiler Operator License from a recognized institute
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
Skills:
- Project management skills
- Auto CAD / Solid works
- Hands on experience in machine maintenance
- Team leadership
