Industrial Engineer (Costing)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify and clarify customer requirements by referring to the tech pack and coordinate with Development/Bulk Merchandisers and Garment Technologists.
- Provide detailed explanations to Pattern Makers, maintain accurate pattern records, and ensure proper instructions are given to QC and Sample Operators.
- Achieve the timing of the pattern and marker cycles while staying updated with customer feedback and requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, adaptability, and practicality of patterns, and issue the correct patterns for bulk production or sampling after self-checking.
- Provide necessary measurement guidelines, finish boards, and marking boards while achieving factory planning and style timelines efficiently.
- Cross-check and follow up on grading rules, formulae, shrinkages, measurements, technical review sheets, SMV reduction points, and folder input/output details at each stage.
- Maintain the pattern library and document library accurately at every stage.
- Manage the TUKA system pattern process and upload system request management reports efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Proven track record of managing multiple plans and optimizing processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handling UK/ European customers will be a definite advantage.
- Knowledge in both knit and woven fabric preferred.
Senior Pattern Makers/ Pattern Makers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Understand customer specifications and create/develop patterns according to requirements.
- Thoroughly understand customer technical design packs.
- Closely work with Development/Bulk - Merchandisers & Garment Techs and factory sample room teams to develop technically correct and production viable patterns.
- Ability to do risk assessments to technical tech packs to understand potential issues and manage corrective actions.
- Achieve the Factory Planning T&A, Bulk style T&A & Developments style T&A correctly.
- Update and maintain the pattern library & document library in each stage correctly.
- Update and maintain TUKA system pattern & upload the system request management reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Degree/Diploma in Textile/Apparel or Marker Making.
- Experience in TUKA system is prerequisite.
- Knowledge in both knit and woven fabric preferred.
- Experience in handling UK/European customers will be a definite advantage.
- Experience in washing and dying products a definite advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity.
