MODERN TRADE EXECUTIVE
Location : Head Office - Makumbura, Pannipitiya
Lanka Spice (Pvt) Limited, owners of the renowned brand ‘Mc Currie’ has been an industry leader for over 40 years of authentic Sri Lankan products. The company’s product range consists of whole, powdered and blended spices and ready-to-eat jar products. The company is in search of a young, dynamic, results-oriented candidate to fill the above position at our organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Execution
- Achieve monthly sales targets across assigned outlets and channels
- Ensure timely order placement and continuous stock availability
- Merchandising & Visibility
- Ensure adherence to planograms and proper product placement
- Maintain high-quality displays, including gondolas, end caps, and POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials)
- Promotions & Activations
- Implement in-store promotions, offers, and sampling activities as per the marketing plan
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support BTL (Below-the-Line) activations and campaigns
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels at store level to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and minimize expiries or damages
- Store Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and floor staff
- Act as the first point of contact for addressing store-level concerns or issues
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 year experience in FMCG/Modern Trade
- Having a Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be an advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and report generation
