We are looking for qualified and passionate Visiting Lecturers for the HND in IT (Software Engineering) program at our Batticaloa Branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in accordance with the Pearson BTEC HND IT curriculum.
  • Prepare session plans, instructional materials, and resources aligned with the unit specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external verifiers to ensure academic integrity and alignment with the Pearson standard.
  • Comply with institutional policies and Pearson BTEC requirements & Mark assignments, and provide constructive feedback within the required timeframe.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognised university in the field of Information Technology or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or lecturing experience in higher education.
  • Experience teaching Pearson BTEC qualifications or similar UK-based vocational qualifications is a strong advantage.
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience in IT-related roles (e.g., software development, networking, cybersecurity, database management, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to design and deliver student-centred and interactive sessions.
