Assistant Manager- Production & Process

We seek an outstanding and energetic professional with high level of dedication and competence to take on key responsibilities at our factory located at Millewa Horana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management: Oversee all aspects of the production process, including printing, finishing, and packaging, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality control to ensure high standards of color accuracy, consistency, and print quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Workflow Optimization: Streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that printing equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, inks, and other consumables, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies are available for uninterrupted production.
  • EHS Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in printing technology will be considered, along with relevant industry experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a flexo printing manufacturing facility.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of flexo printing processes, equipment, and technologies. Familiarity with printing software and database handling tools.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to identifying and solving production challenges.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
