Person Specification & Qualification
- B.Sc Degree or NDT in Chemical & Process Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering, Food Science & Technology or Physical Science.
- 3-5 years of working experience in the food manufacturing industry in Production or Engineering roles would be an added advantage.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive individual who can work independently with minimum guidance.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work on a shift basis and long working hours as per production requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality certifications such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, SLS, & HACCP would be advantageous.
- Candidates aged below 35 years are preferred.
Job Profile
- Develop daily production and labour plans to cater to 100% of the daily sales requirement.
- Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and identify and address problems that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
- Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
- Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports and share with Factory Manager.
- Maintain discipline among the workforce.
- Ensure Plant hygiene and sanitation is maintained to the relevant quality standards.
- Maintain and file all the process control records.
- Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are followed to maintain an accident free work environment.
- Identify and drive kaizen projects focusing on eliminating waste and improving productivity.
- Communicate to upper management any problems regarding production, quality, and safety.
