ASSISTANT MANAGER – BRANCH OPERATION
(Galle / Gampaha / Galgamuwa)
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily transaction, lending, deposits, and ensuring smooth branch operations, such as managing staff and monitoring tasks.
- Ensuring adherence to banking laws, CBSL guidelines and company policies to prevent non-compliance issues.
- Providing exemplary service to customers and addressing their needs and inquiries.
- Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and improve overall operations.
- Leading and mentoring teller/cashier, customer relations officer, gold loan officer, back-office officer, and delegating tasks effectively.
- Addressing any issues or complaints from customers or staff promptly and effectively.
- Communicating operational updates, financial performance, and other key metrics to senior management.
Person’s Profile
- Professional qualifications in accounts (IBSL, HNDA, AAT) or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ service in a bank or NBFI sector.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent written & oral communication skills specially in English. Proficiency in Sinhala & Tamil will be an added advantage.
