Vacancy for Project Coordinator

The Royal College Union, formed in 1892, is the alumni association of Royal College and, over the last 180 years, together with the school authorities, support the development of education, infrastructure, sports, and all other activities at Royal College.

The Royal College Union requires the full-time services of a Project Coordinator, who will report to the Project Manager (Smart-School Project) / Steering Committee of The Royal College Union and responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of activities related to the deployment of smart school infrastructure and content. This position is for a fixed contract period of 12 months. His / Her scope of work would include:

  • Project Planning and monitoring
  • Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
  • Resource Management
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Content and Infrastructure Deployment Support
  • Reporting and Documentation

Required qualifications and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Education Technology, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. OR any similar qualification tied with experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, preferably in the education or technology sector.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with smart school technologies and digital learning content would be an asset.
  • Experience working in [Specify relevant context, e.g., Sri Lankan education system] is desirable.

The job will be full-time, between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours may be negotiated based upon the requirements of the day-to-day management of the Project.
