Junior Executive - Supply Chain
Job Profile
- Overseeing the import process from ordering to payment, ensuring accuracy and timely clearance
- Managing import-related documentation, including bank documents, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
- On-time costing of all import shipments.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders like suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and government agencies.
- Obtaining approvals for imports from relevant government institutions like IECD, Customs, SLSI, Ministry of health, and the Ministry of port shipping and aviation
- Accurate demand planning and category research.
Candidate Profile
- At least 1 year of experience in imports. Experience in food and FMCG would be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in supply management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
